This laser rangefinder is not only lightweight but also offers everything you need without unnecessary features. With a maximum range of 1,400 yards (750 yards on deer), the Crossfire HD 1400 is a powerful tool that excels in any hunting terrain. Its HD optical system enhances your ability to discern details across varied landscapes.

Designed for versatility, the Crossfire HD 1400 includes three target modes: Normal, First, and Last, alongside two ranging modes: Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) and Line of Sight (LOS). A red TOLED display ensures clear visibility regardless of lighting conditions, and weighing just 4.8 ounces, it seamlessly fits into a bowhunter’s pack or an ultralight hunting gear setup.

HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) Mode
This mode is primarily for most archery and rifle shooting scenarios. The HCD display indicates a crucial horizontal component distance, automatically correcting for shot angles without requiring extra input from the user. Shooters can apply the appropriate level ground drop and wind adjustments based on the displayed range. Archers simply use their level ground sight pin corresponding to the range displayed.

Utilize the HCD mode in the following contexts:
- Rifle shooting on level ground at any distance.
- Mild slope (less than 15 degrees) shooting up to 800 yards.
- Moderate slope (15-30 degrees) shooting up to 400 yards.
- All archery shooting conditions.

LOS (Line of Sight) Mode
Aimed at rifle shooters who employ slope-correcting ballistic drop data, this mode is suitable for shooting beyond 500 yards on steeper inclines. The LOS mode displays the actual line of sight range without any slope correction. This mode aids shooters in calculating wind drift in challenging conditions, ensuring maximum accuracy. Users can input the LOS range into electronic devices or reference ballistic drop cards that accommodate slope corrections.

Scan Feature
To engage the Scan Ranging feature, press and hold the “Measure” button. This allows continuous distance measurement while scanning across targets. Releasing the button resets the laser to its power-up state.

Equipped with 5x magnification and a 21mm objective lens, the Crossfire HD 1400 provides a robust performance for hunters and offers a maximum range of 1,400 yards (750 yards on game). The exceptional HD optical system, utilizing select glass elements, minimizes chromatic aberration and enhances color fidelity.
